Top 10 cars that weren't made in America

2010 Zagato Alfa Romeo TZ3 Corsa
The TZ3 Corsa is marked by a lightweight body made of aluminum, and a mono shell tubular chassis of carbon fiber. It weighs 1847 lbs, and is packed with a powerful 4.2 liter V8 engine capable of a horse power that reaches up to 420 counts. Also, the vehicle is capable of a speed that reaches over 186 mph, definitely making it one tough rival in the racetracks. Add to that the acceleration rate of 62 mph that is accomplished in less than 3.5 seconds.
2010 Audi A6
One of the A6's primary strengths is its deluxe cabin. Materials are first-rate, and the overall design is nothing short of class-leading. Its winter-weather capability is another plus. A6s are available with the Quattro all-wheel-drive system, which distributes power to all four wheels, making icy roads more manageable.
But the car's most compelling asset concerns value. In terms of overall quality, the Audi A6 is right up there with other midsize luxury cars, but it costs thousands less. A used A6 represents an even more affordable proposition.
There have been three generations of the Audi A6, and all are worthy selections. If there's a downside to the A6, it's that it hasn't been the most athletic choice in its segment thanks to engines that have been somewhat light on low-end torque over the years. But that pales in the face of this car's undisputable merits. Offering premium refinement at a respectable price, the A6 is an excellent choice.
Citroen C5
Besides new features and improvements including next-gen NaviDrive system, featuring a 7-inch central display screen, new steering wheel controls, seat back massage, Hydractive 3 Plus self-leveling suspension, Lane Departure Warning System, Adaptive Front Lighting System with Xenon headlamps, the C5 has received a lot of attention in bringing it up to level with the competition.
Lamborghini Gallardo
The exotic Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 is currently available in a coupe body style and spyder convertible. The name LP560-4 refers to its engine position ("longitudinale posteriore" or longitudinal rear), its European horsepower measurement (560 ps) and that all four wheels are powered. There is also a limited-edition model called the LP550-2 Valentino Balboni, which is a rear-wheel-drive-only model named after Lamborghini's storied test driver.
The Gallardo LP560-4 is powered by a 5.0-liter V10 good for 552 horsepower and 398 pound-feet of torque. The Valentino Balboni model produces 542 hp. A six-speed manual transmission with gated metal shifter is standard, while an automated six-speed sequential-shift manual transmission known as e-gear is optional. Expect 0-60 times in the high-3-second range.
In terms of layout and design, the Lamborghini Gallardo is a true exotic. To keep weight down, the chassis is a composite blend of alloy stampings, extrusions and castings. And except for the traditionally opening steel doors (no scissors), the exterior is constructed of thermoplastic-formed panels.
Peugeot 406 Saloon
406 is the French family car that thinks it's a stylish Italian, with sculpted Pininfarina styling, composed handling and big car comfort. But it’s not just Italian-inspired panache that has made 406 a winner for Peugeot. The saloon is roomier than most rivals and delivers almost limo-like ride quality. The estate is refined and capacious and the Coupé is understated, elegant and can almost be forgiven for thinking it's a Ferrari. 406 is a cut above look-a-like Euroboxes, and a far cheaper alternative to the Mercedes-Benz C-Class and BMW 3-Series.
Renault Clio
The third generation Renault Clio is a seismic leap ahead in terms of quality and refinement. It’s now one of, if not the, best supermini around and a huge kick in the balls to the Peugeot 207.
It feels like a far bigger and pricier car in here. The outgoing Clio was a flimsy, brittle affair, but the new boy is more ergonomic, refined and composed at high speed. A real shift in direction, and triumphantly executed.
There's a sizeable range of engines to choose from for your Clio, with the 1.5-litre diesel being sold with no fewer than three different levels of power. All are torquey, frugal and adequately refined.
The Clio has, for some reason probably only known by God and the French, always been the coolest supermini. It now looks so much more grown up, both inside and out, but still retains that vital element of laissez faire.
2009 Peugeot RCZ
(2009) Take one Audi TT, swap the Audi roundels for a Peugeot lion and hey presto! One RCZ. The best-looking Pug in years, the RCZ is the first to use letters rather than numbers for its name.

Bugatti Veyron
Fast, expensive, powerful, beautifully built, the Veyron is undoubtedly a legend. But it isn't officially the world's fastest production car, thanks to the Americans, with their SSC Ultimate Aero
1986 Peugeot Proxima
One of a trio of far-out Peugeot concepts (it was sandwiched by the Quasar and Oxia), the Proxima had a twin-turbo mid-mounted 2850cc V6 giving 600bhp and a top speed of 200mph.
SEAT Toledo
The third generation Toledo (Typ 5P) was introduced in 2004, and it is completely different from the previous two. Abandoning the traditional "three-box" saloon format, the Toledo Mk3 has a very controversial design, penned by Walter de'Silva. It is now closer to acompact MPV with the Altea's front section, a high roof, and a rear end inspired in theRenault Vel Satis, paying homage to the original Toledo's hatchback/saloon rear.
